ಎನಗೆ ಸುಖವಿಲ್ಲವದರಿಂ ದೇವರಿರನೆನ್ನು- |
ವನುಮಿತಿಯ ನೀಂ ಗೆಯ್ಯೆ, ಸುಖಿಯದೇನೆನುವಂ? ||
ತನುಬಾಹ್ಯಕರಣದನುಭವಕಿಂತ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮತರ- |
ದನುಭವವ ನೀನರಸೊ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

Enage sukhavillavadarin dEvariranennu - |
vanumitiya nIm geyye, sukhiyadEnenuvam? ||
tanubaahyakaraNanubhavakinta sUkshmatara- |
danubhavava nInaraso - mankutimma ||
