Translator's thoughts: The intent of the poet in the last line when he asks us to get dissolved in the world, to become one within everyone reminds me of the one expressed by Ghalib in the line - "Ishrat-e-qatra hai darya mein fana ho jaana" (The pleasure of the droplet is to become as nought in the ocean)

ReplyDeleteDVG's Manku Thimana Khaga is the Bhagvad Geetha of Kaliyuga. A great great poet, who is incomparable to any one in this Kaliyuga. But, unfortunately, he was not given his deserving place due to caste politics by the rotten rulers (who destroyed for past 70 years) of this independent Bharat. Sorry, he was far far superior than many poets like Kuvempu. May DVG's soul rest in peace. NSP
