ಏನೇನು ಹಾರಾಟ ಸುಖಕೆಂದು ಲೋಕದಲಿ |
ತಾನಾಗಿ ಗಾಳಿವೊಲ್ ಬಂದ ಸುಖವೆ ಸುಖ ||
ನೀನೆ ಕೈ ಬೀಸಿಕೊಳೆ ನೋವು ಬೆವರುಗಳೆ ಫಲ |

EnEnu haaraaTa sukhakendu lOkadali |
taanaagi gaaLivol banda sukhave sukha ||
nIne kai bIsikoLe nOvu bevarugaLe phala |
maaNu manadubbasava - mankutimma ||

What all troubles for the sake of joy in the world?
