ಧನ್ಯತಮವಾ ಘಳಿಗೆ, ಪುಣ್ಯತಮವಾ ಘಳಿಗೆ |
ನಿನ್ನ ಮಮತೆಯ ನೂಲ ವಿಧಿಯೆ ಪರಿದಂದು ||
ಉನ್ನತಿಯಿನಾತ್ಮವನು ತಡೆದಿಡುವ ಪಾಶಗಳು |
ಛಿನ್ನವಾದಂದೆ ಸೊಗ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

dhanyatamavaa ghaLige, puNyatamavaa ghaLige |
ninna mamateya nUla vidhiye paridandu ||
unnatiyinaatmavanu taDediDuva paashagaLu |
Chinnavaadande soga - mankutimma ||

A blessed moment it is, an auspicious moment it is
